Trip the Solar System and shop for books!

      This preliminary version of khackegm is designed to introduce 
   you to old fashioned hacking.  You'll learn how computers work 
   bit by bit.  (Yes, unfortunately, that pun is intended.)  The 
   puzzles in the first version will be restricted to alterations to 
   the compiled machine code which is khackegm.  You'll use the 
   rudimentary Binary File Editor to change the executable (not the 
   copy you're running!)to customize texts and to free the BClip menu 
   command.  As the k_empowr utility package, (click )
   which the game is based on, grows more sophisticated, so will the 
   techniques and knowledge (which you'll have picked up by playing)
   required to stay in the game.  
      Future versions will move from binary file editing problems to 
   file decoding and net message interception as well as password 
   discovery games.  As stated these advancements will be progressive 
   and follow the development of k_empowr.
